ISF and PATU sign Memorandum of Understanding for taekwondo development in the Americas

PATU Press - The Pan American Taekwondo Union and the International School Sport Federation MEXICO (ISF) established this September 22 in Aguascalientes, Mexico, a Memorandum of Understanding that will benefit and contribute to the development of taekwondo in the Americas.

This historic and unprecedented alliance between ISF-MEX and PATU materialized thanks to the joint work of the leaders of both organizations in the region: Master Martín Sánchez Tenorio as leader of ISF America and LAE. Juan Manuel López Delgado, PATU president and World Taekwondo vice-president.

Once the understanding was signed, the PATU Secretary General, Master Mario Mandel, and the head of the ISF-MEX, with the supervision of LAE. Juan Manuel Lopez Delgado vice-president of the WT, agreed that:

ISF-MEX and PATU share the same vision that sport in general and Taekwondo in particular can contribute greatly to the social and intellectual development of young people and teachers, particularly physical education teachers.

"This memorandum is established in order to strengthen collaborative ties for the promotion of Taekwondo sport and Taekwondo in education at the local level. This will attract school-age Taekwondo enthusiasts as well as more practitioners, enhancing the cooperation of "PATU" and ISF-MEX, and will contribute to the publicity and diffusion of Taekwondo in the media," explained Lopez Delgado.

Against this backdrop, these are some of the purposes of this alliance:

⏩ Encourage cooperation between PATU and ISF-MEX in the promotion of Taekwondo school activities, training seminar and education.

⏩ Strengthen general cooperation and partnership between the two organizations and their members;

⏩Promote and contribute to the development of ISF-MEX Taekwondo skills among students.

⏩ Exchange information and news using the organizations' platforms for mutual external communication and promotion;

⏩ Seek broader synergies and new opportunities arising from interagency cooperation.

PATU and ISF-MEX may celebrate and develop taekwondo promotion events, as well as specific cooperation projects for training, education and event organization jointly.
