PATU Press – This January 27 with more than 400 participants from 36 countries of America and the best speakers and instructors of World Taekwondo and Panamerican Taekwondo Union, was formally inaugurated the I Panamerican Technical Congress in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico.

“Welcome to Aguascalientes, capital of Pan American and World Taekwondo, a city that today opens the doors to knowledge, wisdom and training in a year 2023 that demands great challenges such as the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador and the Pan American Games Santiago,” said L.A.E Juan Manuel Lopez Delgado, president of PATU, in the inaugural speech.

Lopez Delgado highlighted the great support that America has received under the new PATU administration by WT, on this occasion, by having Amely Moras, WT Referee Chairman; Chakir Chelbat, WT ParaTaekwondo Referee Chairman; and Kai Seung, member of the WT Education Department, who with their knowledge, experience and world guidelines contribute in the training of the International Referees in the 135th WT International Referee Refresher Course Kyorugui (25-29/01).
