From July 1 to 7, 2025, Asuncion, capital of Paraguay, will host the Panam Sports Camp towards the Junior Pan American Games Asuncion 2025. The activity is the result of a valuable synergy between Panam Sports, the Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU) and the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, with the objective of strengthening the technical and tactical preparation of qualified athletes and their coaches.
The camp will feature speakers of high international level, who will share their knowledge in both the theoretical and practical areas of taekwondo:
-Araceli Ornelas Caballero, Olympic referee, will lead the theoretical part of the rules, aimed at athletes and coaches, providing an updated vision of international refereeing.
-In Poomsae, Grand Master Raymond Hsu will conduct technical sessions focused on competitive improvement.
-For the Sparring modality, Master Damian Villa will give practical sessions with emphasis on tactical tools applied to real competition situations.
This camp seeks to be a space for training, updating and coexistence, where the future promises of Panamerican Taekwondo can nurture the knowledge of outstanding figures of the sport, in an environment that stimulates sporting excellence and the Olympic spirit.
The Pan American Taekwondo Union reaffirms its commitment to the integral development of taekwondo in the Americas, promoting spaces for training and sporting excellence at the beginning of the new Olympic cycle.
