{"id":7302,"date":"2022-01-15T22:13:01","date_gmt":"2022-01-15T22:13:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.patutkd.org\/?p=7302"},"modified":"2025-08-29T18:39:27","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T18:39:27","slug":"world-taekwondo-restructures-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.patutkd.org\/en\/world-taekwondo-restructures-office\/","title":{"rendered":"World Taekwondo restructures office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><span class=\"has-inline-color has-cyan-bluish-gray-color\">The President of World Taekwondo (WT), Dr. Chungwon Choue, announced the restructuring of the Jung-gu, Seoul office into five departments that will cover all operations at the headquarters.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three main changes are the expansion of the President\u2019s Office to include additional functions, thus are the Planning and Finance Department; and the Education Office becomes a full-fledged Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Legal Office is also now part of the Development and Member Relations Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other two departments remain unchanged, the Events and Sport Department and the Administration and Communications Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Senior Directors in charge of these departments are as follows:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ms. Heesoo Noh<\/strong>: Administration and Communication (ANC)<\/li><li><strong>Mr. Jungseok Yoo<\/strong>: Education (EDU)<\/li><li><strong>Mr. Jeongkang Seo<\/strong>: Member Relations and Development (MRD)<\/li><li><strong>Mr. Jerry Ling<\/strong>: Planning and Finance (PNF)<\/li><li><strong>Mr. Jay Lee<\/strong>: Sport and Event Management (SEM)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Is important to highlight that,&nbsp;<strong>Jeongkang Seo<\/strong>&nbsp;will be the Director General, an appointment that automatically positions him as Acting Secretary General until a new Secretary General is appointed, after the exit of&nbsp;<strong>Hoss Rafaty<\/strong>&nbsp;from that position<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The President of World Taekwondo (WT), Dr. Chungwon Choue, announced the restructuring of the Jung-gu, Seoul office into five departments that will cover all operations at the headquarters.
